The OIF Group of FIAT has already organized information on requested technical equipment in african audiovisual archives.

The requested equipment includes:
    1 inch VTR
    2 inch VTR
    Umatic and Umatic H VTR
    compatible PAL/SECAM
    PAL/SECAM Converter
    Beta and Beta SP VTR
    DVCAM VTR
    DVC PRO VTR
    "RewritableDVDs"
    DAT Player
    1/4 inch audio tape player

The requesting television archives include the archives of:
    Benin
    Burkina Faso
    Ivory Coast
    Gabon
    Madagascar
    Mali
    Mauritius
    Mauritania
    Niger
    Senegal
The Preservation and Migration Commission will be responsible for coordinating the operations and providing the necessary support to donators, if needed.
